Now on to games. Games that are played this days are mostly done by children. There is a specific name for games played by children. It is namely 'carah' or in English, tag. But there is more to playing tags. Two of them that is played constantly are 'carah ice dan water' and 'ayam dan musang'. This game has unlimited players so anyone can join along. Before playing these games, one must actually be tagged. It all started with 'osam' or in English, odd one out. After two players are left, we decide by plaing 'becus' or rock paper scissors as a tie breaker.
'Carah ice dan water' is a game of survival played with a lot of players and one person as tag. In tag, you as a player should try your best to run away and avoid the person who is tagged. It is the same in this game but you never get 'it'. In this game, the tagged person is the 'ice'. Which meant rather than to get other people tagged, he/she shouts out 'ice!' to the person who got caught. Noticing this, the person who got caught has to freeze, if not, she/he will be the person tagged or ice. Meanwhile, the other players job is to save the freezed ones. But they have to be careful around the 'ice' or they'll get caught and freezed too. This game is not about winning as there is no winner except if the 'ice' person freezes everyone in the game.
'Ayam dan musang' is about a fox who tries to eat the chicken that lives inside a circle of picket fences. In deciding who is the chicken and the fox, the one who losses in the 'becus' game or rock paper scissors gets to be the unfortunate one, the fox. The rest of the player gets to be the picket fence, surrounding the chicken and try to help her avoid being eaten. The rest of the players joined hand to hand and form a big circle. They can move their hands up and down and to try to confuse the fox for entering. The game, also doesn't have a winner unless the fox gets the chicken.
